Nineteen of Medvedev's 21 victories have been achieved on hard surfaces
A comeback the Russian player claimed his first trophy for over two years with success over Corentin Moutet in the tournament championship match.
The Russian, a former number one, has experienced a torrid period, winning just one win at the Grand Slams and undergoing a difficult moment at the US Open.
His varied form on the professional circuit - and difficulties with his serving in especial - resulted in him exiting of the top ten and finally separating with former coach Cervara.
Currently collaborating with Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has gradually improved in the past month - culminating in a closely contested three-set triumph over opponent Moutet.
It is his initial championship since the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hard surface since spring of 2023.
Victory also indicates he has won 21 victories at 21 different competitions.
"For the first time I'm at a tournament with my both daughters at once, so to get a title is really nice," commented world number 14 Medvedev.
"This championship is in tribute of my younger daughter her name, because the first title I won when my first daughter her name was born was for her."
The athlete, the former major winner, had lost his past six finals, comprising in Halle in the past months.
The player's retrieving approach and recurring outbursts on the playing surface had caused observers to wonder if his skill to compete at the highest level was over.
But the 29-year-old has made changes in the past month, making an effort to come to the net and compete assertively, backed up by an improved service.
The champion came back from a break down in the first set against the difficult Moutet, taking 4 of the concluding five points to go ahead.
The pair swapped service breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, striving for his maiden ATP Tour title, seized the initiative to push for a decider.
The opponent rescued 4 initial chances in a close third set before Medvedev secured a break to that score to secure the win.
Fittingly, the winner clinched the win with a point at the net, with the Frenchman incapable to manage a shot after over two and a half hours.
